Daniel Shannon is an educator with over 30 years experience in Foreign Language education in independent schools in the United States and in Argentina. From 1991 to 1997 he was a Spanish teacher and Foreign Language Department Chair at the Maret School in Washington, D.C., where he began organizing and leading educational trips abroad. In 1998, Daniel founded Spanish Learning Abroad. From 2000 on, he has been a Spanish teacher at The Potomac School in McLean, VA, where he was also Department Chair from 2003-2015.
