Program Guidelines
All of our students must make the following commitments:
1. I will keep my focus on the purpose of the trip, speaking Spanish at all times and getting to know the people of Spain.
2. I will be a good guest, following the routines and practices of the Spanish host family.
3. I will abstain from the use of alcohol or drugs under all circumstances.
*If any student is unable to function within these guidelines, the student will be withdrawn from the program at the parents’ expense. There will be no refunds.
Application Process
Step 1. Submit by mail the Spanish Learning Abroad Application with the non-refundable deposit of $600 (plus tennis fee, if applicable) made out to Spanish Learning Abroad.
Step 2. The student’s Spanish teacher should fax (301.301.1437) or email (daniel@spanishlearningabroad.com) a Spanish Teacher Recommendation.
Step 3. Once the Application and Recommendation have been reviewed and accepted, a Personal Interview with Student and Parents will be arranged, in person if geographically possible.
Costs & Payment Options
The cost of the program includes all hotels, all tours, meals home stay, administrative fees, and classes. The expenditures not included in this price are airfare, luggage charges, personal expenses, additional outings (going to a movie, a bullfight), gift purchases, sporting activities and trip insurance.
Please let us know if you prefer to make the travel arrangements for your child, or if you intend to make your own arrangements. If you are purchasing your own airfare, the point of arrival and departure in Spain is the Madrid Airport.
**Early Departures: Any student leaving the program early, must purchase airfare from the Seville Airport.
